(a) (i) Testis: produces the male germ cells, the sperms, and secretes the male hormone testosterone. (ii) Vas deferens: carries the sperms from the testis to the urethra. (iii) Urethra: forms the common passage for both the sperms and urine, which leave the body through it by way of the penis. (iv) Prostate: adds its secretion (with the seminal vesicles), so that the sperms are in a fluid which makes their transport easier and also provides nutrition. (b) Any two of: (1) thick hair grows on the face (moustache and beard) and in the armpits and the genital area; (2) the voice begins to crack and becomes deeper; (3) the penis occasionally becomes enlarged and erect; (4) the skin becomes oily and pimples may appear.
