Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Quest4Learn ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use the website quest4learn.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and (where provided) phone number, created when you register or sign in.
- Sign-in data — if you use "Sign in with Google", we receive basic profile information (name, email, and profile identifier) from Google to create or link your account. We do not receive your Google password.
- Payment information — when you purchase a plan, payment is processed by our payment provider (e.g., PhonePe). We receive transaction confirmation details (such as an order/transaction reference and status). We do not collect or store your full card number, UPI PIN, or bank credentials — these are handled directly by the payment provider.
- Usage & device data — such as pages viewed, questions accessed, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, and log data, used to operate and improve the Service and to keep it secure.
- Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. See "Cookies" below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and provide the Service;
- To process payments, activate subscriptions, and send transaction confirmations and receipts;
- To personalise and improve content, features, and performance;
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and support requests, and to send service-related notices;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed:
- Payment providers (such as PhonePe) to process and verify transactions;
- Service providers who help us run the Service (for example, hosting, email delivery, and analytics), under confidentiality obligations and only for the purposes we specify;
- Authentication providers (such as Google) when you choose to sign in with them;
- Legal & safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Quest4Learn, our users, or others.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and keep the Service working, and to remember your preferences and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to sign in or use certain features.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Transaction records may be retained for periods required by law.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure hosting — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact us at support@quest4learn.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for students and learners. If you are a minor, you should use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the minor's use and for any information provided.
9. Third-Party Links & Services
The Service may link to or integrate third-party websites and services (such as Google and PhonePe). Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page; your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Contact & Grievances
For any question, request, or grievance regarding your personal data or this Policy, contact us at support@quest4learn.com. We will acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines required by applicable law.
