Producers (green plants) and consumers (animals) are two biotic components of an ecosystem.
Any two of the following: producers, such as green plants, which make their own food; consumers, such as herbivores and carnivores, which feed on other organisms; and decomposers, such as bacteria and fungi, which break down dead remains and wastes. For example: producers (green plants) and consumers (animals).
